Description:
Sargent Tina Crabapple is the smallest of all Crabapples and is grafted onto a sturdy trunk. If you love crabapples, but don't have room, this a great choice. This small tree has spreading and somewhat pendulous branches and is an amazing specimen. Sargent Tina Crabapple shows off with bright red buds in the Spring that then burst open to single white fragrant flowers. Small ¼ inch bright red fruits follow and persist long into the winter months.

Crabapples prefer sun and moist, slightly acidic soil with good drainage for best performance. Pruning is done during the dormant season. Do so in spring after flowering, as it flowers on old wood. Remove any suckers at the base throughout the growing season. A tree guard on the trunk will help prevent rabbit damage over winter and early spring.
