Returns & Warranty Policy
Hardgoods Returns
We are pleased to offer the following return options for hardgoods:
- Returns accompanied by a receipt within 7 days of purchase are eligible for a full refund. Receipt required to process refund.
- After 7 days and up to 30 days from purchase, returns are eligible for store credit only.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns beyond 30 days.
All returned items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition.
Items purchased on Clearance are final sale and not eligible for return.
Seasonal & Discounted Merchandise
- Christmas items may be returned within 7 days for a refund; after that, store credit will be issued (up to December 10).
- No returns will be accepted on Christmas merchandise after December 10.
- Items discounted by 50% or more are final sale, including defective merchandise.
Nursery Stock Returns
- All plant material must be returned within 48 hours of purchase.
- This policy applies to all customers, including landscapers.
- Annuals are final sale and not eligible for return.
Plant Material Warranty
General Warranty Information
- Tropicals and houseplants are not covered under warranty. Please choose carefully at the time of purchase.
- Select trees and shrubs are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Warranty Claims
- Approved claims will be issued as store credit for the original purchase amount.
- Store credit:
- Cannot be refunded as cash
- May be used toward any in-store purchase
- Is valid for 1 year from the date of issue
To submit a claim:
- Provide a valid receipt and clear photos of the plant
- Complete the warranty submission form
- Please do not bring plant material that did not survive into store

Please allow 1–3 weeks for processing. You will be notified by email when your credit is ready for pickup.
Note: Warranty claims may be submitted in May; however, processing may be delayed.
Seasonal Warranty Limitations
- No warranty is offered on nursery stock purchased after October 1st or discounted 35% off or more.
- Annuals are not warrantied once they leave the garden centre.
Non-Hardy Plant Warranty (Seasonal Coverage Only)
The following plant categories are not covered over the winter months, but are warrantied until September 1st of purchase year:
- Japanese Maples
- Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Pieris, Kalmia, Erica, Daphne
- Certain Dogwoods (e.g., Cornus florida, Cornus controversa, Cornus rutgersensis)
- Specialty trees (e.g., Tri-Color Beech, Purple Fountain Beech, Golden Chain Tree, Golden Rain Tree)
- Sweetgum, Stewartia, Caryopteris
- Hibiscus and some Hydrangea varieties
- Roses, perennials, vines, ornamental grasses, butterfly bushes
- Fruit trees, including multi-grafted varieties (e.g., 4-in-1 apple, peach, cherry, plum, nectarine)
