Description:
This is a large-growing, blue-green selection of Douglas Fir with weeping laterals. Surprisingly soft to the touch, silver-backed needles are part of the beauty of this weeping Douglas Fir. The central leader may eventually weep as the conifer matures. A beautiful lawn specimen.
This tree should be grown in full sunlight. It requires evenly moist well-drained soil for optimal growth but cannot tolerate standing water. It is not particular as to soil type, but does better in acidic soils. It will benefit from being planted in a relatively sheltered location.
