Description:
Large, dark red berries with a classic raspberry flavour ripening in late June. Wonderful for making juice, freezing, and making jams or jellies and tasty off the cane.
Raspberries grow best in a fertile, moist, well-drained soil, in full sun. In its first year, this variety produces only leaves; in its second year, it develops fruit. Once the fruit matures the cane dies and should be cut down to the ground to allow the sun to reach newly emerging canes. A 5 cm layer of mulch applied every fall will aid in maintaining moisture, fertility, and help reduce weeds. Don't forget the bird netting!
