A slow growing maple with a crown that matures to an oval, rounded form. Emerald-green leaves emerge in the spring which turns bright red to brilliant purple in Autumn for a long-lasting show of fall colour. A seedless cultivar that makes a great accent lawn specimen. This maple grows best in slightly acidic, moist soil.
Pruning maple trees at the end of summer is an ideal time to do so. All maples except Silver are Black Walnut tolerant.
