Description:
This pyramidal form of the Tulip tree is well suited for narrower areas, but it will need its room. Unusual yellow-green, tulip-like flowers appear in late spring through early summer, after the tree has matured for a number of years, but this variety will bloom earlier than other varieties. The foliage has a pretty golden yellow colour in fall. Lingering groupings of samaras, or seeds, add winter interest.
Tulip trees are deer and rabbit resistant and the flowers will attract pollinators. Prune tulip trees when they are dormant.
