Description:
The dark green leaves have silver-green undersides which shine in the sunlight. It turns a brilliant yellow-gold for a fantastic Fall colour. It has an upright, rounded crown and tolerates wet or dry sites. A nice specimen for screening and has an attractive white bark creating fantastic winter interest. The leaves “rustle or tremble” in the slightest breeze, due to the flat leaf stems. It is has less suckering than regular Aspen.
Trembling or Quaking Aspen variety grows best in full sun and prefers acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained soil but is clay soil tolerant.
