Height: 12 m
Width: 12 m
Special Features: Lacecap white blooms early summer, Self-clinging, Slow growing, Winter interest
A beautiful self-clinging vine which is covered with large white lacecap flowers early to mid-Summer. This slow growing vine will cling to a structure more than twine. The foliage turns a beautiful yellow in Fall. If you choose to not prune the flowers, the light snow makes for pretty winter interest. It is not a fast grower, so patience is needed for it to get established. With this in mind, it is not hard to control like many other vines. Prune immediately after flowering, if desired, and remove young branches that grow at the base along the ground, unless you want some groundcover. It will tolerate shade, but does best in more sun for blooms to form.
